Проживание в высоких широтах, в том числе в Евро-Арктическом регионе, предъявляет повышенные требования к психофизиологическому состоянию организма человека, который подвергается специфическому воздействию высокоширотных факторов окружающей среды, приводящих к снижению устойчивости организма и сокращению продолжительности жизни. Цель работы. Определить уровень тревожности и частоту выявления высокой тревожности как проявления психоэмоционального напряжения у студентов в арктических условиях в зависимости от возраста и курса обучения. Материалы и методы. В исследовании приняли участие 133 студентки медицинского колледжа, средний возраст которых составил 21,15±5,89 года. Тестирование психоэмоционального состояния проводилось в соответствии с методикой Ч.Д. Спилбергера-Ю.Л. Ханина. Проводилось ранжирование показателей в зависимости от курса обучения и возраста испытуемых. Результаты. У 33 испытуемых студенток обнаружена высокая ситуативная тревожность (СТ) (25%). Процентное соотношение высокой ситуативной тревожности и её средний уровень снижается к 4 курсу обучения. У многих студенток высокая СТ сохраняется до 4 курса и может быть связана с адаптацией к учебному процессу и проведением контрольных испытаний. В 60% случаев выявлен высокий уровень ЛТ. Высокая ЛТ чаще выявляется в начале обучения и снижается в зависимости от длительности обучения (курса), но у студенток старше 25 лет отмечается рост ЛТ, что можно объяснить сложностями совмещения семейных и трудовых обязанностей с обучением. Заключение. Исследование психоэмоциональной сферы у студенток медицинского колледжа показало, что они представляют группу риска по развитию психоэмоционального напряжения и психосоматических состояний в процессе обучения. Objective. Determine the level of anxiety and the frequency of detection of high anxiety, as manifestations of psycho-emotional stress among students in Arctic conditions, depending on age and course of study. Subject and methods. The study involved 133 female students, the average age was 21,15±5,89 years. Testing of the psycho-emotional state was carried out in accordance with the method of Ch.D. Spielberger - Yu.L. Hanin. The indicators were ranked according to the course of study and the age of the subjects. Results. 33 anxious students were found to have high anxiety. The frequency of identifying high situational anxiety (SA) in a percentage ratio is 25% and its average level rises to 3 class inclusively and decreases to 4 years of training. High SA in many female students lasts up to 4 class and can be associated with adaptation to the educational process and conducting control tests. In 60% of cases, high levels of personal anxiety (PA) were found. High PA is more often detected at the beginning of training and decreases depending on the length of study (class), but among students over 25 years old there is an increase in PA, which can be explained by the difficulty of combining family and work responsibilities with training. Conclusion. The study of the psycho-emotional sphere of female students of the medical college showed that they represent a risk group for the development of psycho-emotional stress and psychosomatic states in the learning process.

The authors study the attitude of Russians to NATO countries (USA, UK, Germany, France) and also to China and India. A trend sociological study was conducted with an interval in time (in 2014 and in 2017) on similar samples within a single exponential population. It is revealed that the image of the United States in the social and political discourse of Russia is generally negative. The attitude of student youth to other countries is determined by their satisfaction with their lives, level of education, and gender characteristics. In addition, it was found that a significant part of student youth is negatively related to the United States, since in the materials of permanent columnists, in news articles, reports, newspaper and magazine articles about the United States, a negative image is created. At the same time, girls relate better than boys to NATO countries, but they treat China worse than boys. The authors propose the tools of “soft power”, which the Russian Federation should use to raise its status on the world stage. In addition, authors are proposing the measures aimed at easing tensions between the Russian Federation and the NATO countries, as well as aimed at even greater rapprochement with such countries as China and India.

Психосемантический подход наиболее востребован, когда речь идет об исследованиях коллективных представлений, и позволяет выявлять глубинные установки и стереотипы, которые плохо отрефлексированы или скрываются по причине социальной нежелательности, а потому с трудом поддаются диагностике. Отношение к другим странам – именно такой пример. В статье рассматриваются образы ряда стран, значимых в сознании студенческой аудитории Южной Кореи. Для получения эмпирических данных (опрошены 107 человек обоих полов) использовалась авторская психосемантическая методика «Образ страны». Исследование включало анализ и интерпретацию ответов по первичным вопросам опросника, проверку существования универсальных семантических категорий оценки образа страны, определение усредненных показателей образов страны по этим категориям, построение интегрального рейтинга положительного отношения к странам. Для анализа данных использовались методы многомерной статистики: метод главных компонент и дискриминантный анализ. Psycho-semantic approach is in demand as we try to reveal collective representations stressing the basic attitudes and stereotypes that are poorly reflected upon or hidden because of social undesirability and therefore difficult to diagnose. Attitudes to other countries are among this kind of examples. The article deals with a number of images of countries which are well known by student audience in South Korea. Original authors’ technique “The image of a country” was used to obtain empirical data. 107 respondents (male and female) took part in the survey. The study included the analysis and interpretation of primary answers to the items of the questionnaire, confirmation of the universal categories of the country images perception and determination of average scores for all countries from the questionnaire for all categories, reconstruction of integral rating of the positive attitudes toward the countries. The authors observe the features of ideas about the future and life values of a number of students of the Central Federal District universities. It was found out that a significant part of the students have positive, but fragmented ideas about their future. In addition, most of the students are inherent in crisis of personal and group identity, that means they do not know what they want and do not structure their lives. When projecting their future students are mostly standing on the paternalistic positions. Sex differences are revealed. In particular, it is noted that values such as family, health, love are more common for girls. The values of young men are associated with well-paid job and career. On the other hand, some similarities in the life values of young people are indicated, such as education and material well-being. The career and job are terminal values for the boys, and, at the same time, are instrumental values for girls. Authors made the conclusion that the acceleration of the social process involves the students in assimilating new values, and it requires developing new methods of influence on the person and applying new technologies in the learning process. Accordingly, it is important to create new educational programs, textbooks and methodological researches.

Background — Recent data indicate increasing rates of mortality from cardiovascular (CV) disease in Turkey. This study aimed to evaluate CV disease risk factors among university students in Northern Turkey. Methods — In this cross sectional descriptive study, 302 students were randomly recruited (171 females (57%) and 131 males (43%), mean age of 20±2.1 years). Blood glucose, cholesterol profile (total, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterols), triglyceride, glycosylated haemoglobin, resting blood pressure, and body mass index were measured using standard protocols. All participants were asked to complete a questionnaire including questions on lifestyle, genetic predisposition, smoking habit, and psychosocial factors. Results — The mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure of students were 127.1±13.5 mmHg and 78.3±12.4 mmHg. The mean values were 98.4±14.2 mg/dL for fasting blood glucose value, 5.4±0.4 for HbA1C, 80.0±10.3 beats/min for heart rate, for total cholesterol 199.1±24.6 mg/dL, 43.8±9.9 mg/dL for HDL, 114.7±24.1 mg/dL for LDL, 199.1±24.6 mg/dL for trygliceride, 24.8±3.6 kg/m2 for body mass index, 97.6±17.9 cm for waist circumference. No significant difference was observed between gender according to CV risk factors’ values statistically. It was observed that 111 (36.8%) students were overweight, 32 (10.6%) were obes. About 135 (44.0%) of students had abnormally unacceptable WC value. Smoking habit was seen in 130 (43.0%) students [73 (24.2%) male and 57 (18.9%) female]. Conclusion — A substantial proportion of Turkish students were overweight or obese, and had smoking habit. Our results underscore the need to implement health promotion programmes and perform large-scale epidemiological studies within the general Turkish young adult population.

The aim of this research is to study of the influence of examination stress on psycho-emotional status and functional state of the cardiovascular system of the 1-st year students of pedagogical high school. Methods – The study involved 105 young men aged 17-18 enrolled in the specialty "Physical Education". The studies were conducted during the period in-between the exams and during the examination session. The psycho-emotional status was determined by the SAN test questionnaire and test and the CH.D. Spielberg test, adapted for Russia by Ju.L. Khanin. The state of CVS autonomic regulation was evaluated by heart rate, blood pressure, endurance ratio, Kerdo index and the adaptive capacities by P.M. Bayevsky. Results – In the absence of exposure to stress in the majority of young men the studied parameters are within normal limits, indicating sufficient adaptive capabilities. A clear correlation between the level of personal anxiety in students and the nature of their reactivity to examination stress was found: the higher the anxiety level in a student is, the more stress resistance decreases and more pronounced changes in the cardiovascular system autonomic regulation appear. The strain of adaptation mechanism was found in a stressful situation in the first-year students with a high level of personal anxiety and satisfactory adaptation – in young men with average and low personal anxiety.

The purpose of work: to study the medical and social status of learning youth of different types of educational institutions and scientifically to prove the differentiated approach to the organization of the prophylactic aid. Methods. Sociological research of 1039 respondents (students of universities) is lead; learning average special educational institutions and technical training colleges under specially developed questionnaire. Results. Features of a social accessory (belonging), a standard of living and well-being of learning universities, special educational institutions and technical training college are determined. The student's cohort of universities under many characteristics was a cohort of safe people from full (70%) intelligent (78%), малодетных (100%) families with an average level of well-being (70%). Pupils of technical training college — are more often natives from incomplete (57%) and quite often having many children (27%) than families working (37%) and peasants (39%) — differed the most unsuccessful characteristics. Pupils special educational institutions took an intermediate place on all investigated parameters. The conclusion. Essential distinctions of the social status of students and learning different types of educational institutions from which the most unsuccessful appeared pupils of technical training college are revealed. It serves as argument for a substantiation of the differentiated approach by development of programs of improvement and the preventive help of learning youth of different types of educational institutions
