Abstract: Aim of the study ― To perform a comparative analysis of morbidity rates in children aged 0-14 years and 15-17 years, in population older than 18 years, in women older than 55 years and men older than 60 years in Russian Federation based on the data of healthcare visits in 2004-2014. Material and Methods ― Data in statistical yearbooks published by Rosstat was studied by calculating mean morbidity rates and their amplitude through the years and by comparing that using deterministic factor analysis. Results ― Increase of morbidity rate was observed in (1) children aged 0-14 years by 665.9‰ (1667.0 to 2332.9‰) with mean rate of 2000.0±333.0‰, in children aged 15–17 years by 358.6‰ (1060.2 to 1418.8‰) with mean rate of 1245.8±185.6‰, difference of 307.3‰ and amplitude of 147.4‰; (2) in population older than 18 years by 49.3‰ (515.4 to 564.7‰) with mean rate of 541.8±26.4‰, and in women older than 55 years and men older than 60 years by 42.4‰ (2039.9 to 2082.3‰) with mean rate of 2054.5±27.9‰, difference of 6.9‰ and amplitude of 1.5‰. Specific characteristics of morbidity in various age groups were determined. Conclusion ― Rate of healthcare visits in Russian Federation was higher for children aged 0-14 years and population older than 18 years. Morbidity increase rate was higher in children aged 0-14 years and women older than 55 years and men older than 60 years. Structural differences in disease groups were detected, which may be taken into account when planning preventive measures according to population age.

Purpose: the study of trends in overall morbidity and primary hypertension in the Saratov region over the period from 2002 to 2013. Materials and methods. The official statistics Ministry of Health and the Federal State Statistics Service were used, which is processed using analytical and statistical methods. Results. The article has been providing the analysis of total and primary arterial hypertension morbidity of the population of the Saratov region, which is in accordance with the degree of the Government of the Russian Federation from December 1, 2004, N 715 to the group of socially significant diseases. During the period from 2002 to 2013 in the Saratov region, as well as in the Russian Federation in Volga Federal district, the tendency of growth of the overall incidence and the decrease in the primary incidence of arterial hypertension. Conclusion. The dynamics of incidence of hypertension suggests the need for careful analysis and optimization of medical care for patients with hypertension

Objective ― This study was conducted to determine whether HbA1c is a predictor of short term mortality and morbidity after coronary artery bypass graft operation. Methods ― The coronary artery bypass graft operation was performed on the patients between January 2009 and January 2013. Each patient's medical record was retrospectively reviewed. The patients who were included in the study were evaluated in groups of 60. One group was comprised of nondiabetic patients, whose HbA1c level is below 6% (the control group 0), the other included diabetic patients with the HbA1c level is between 6-6.9% (the group 1) and the last group, group 2, included those patients with HbA1c level is equal or greater than 7%. Pre, peri and post operation data was compared. The deaths that occured in the first 30 days were evaluated as mortality and complications as morbitity. Results ― While mortality was not observed in the control group, one incident was observed in group 1 and 5 in group 2, which corresponds to 1.7% and 8.3% respectively. The mortality ratio in the group with patients whose HbA1c was greater or equal to 7% found statistically significant compared to the control group (P=0.02). The following parameters were observed in group 2 and were found statistically significant: the need for dialisis (25%, P<0.01), atrial fibrillation (33%, P=0.01), revision due to bleeding (10%, P=0.18), cerebrovascular event (16,7%, P=0.01), duration of mechanic ventilation (19.5±21.6, P=0.06), duration of hospital stay (approximately 9.91±5.35 days, P=0.01), infection in scar (53%, P<0.01), mediastenit (11%, P=0.01) and urinary tract infection (10%, P=0.01) Conclusion ― We concluded that in those diabetic patients that elective coronart artery bypass graft is applied, highly reactive HbA1c levels (HbA1c ≥7), may indicate morbitity in the early stages of post operation.

The study aims the influence of development of the acute postoperative pancreatitis at the early postoperative period; determine its influence at the frequency and spectrum of complications after abdominal surgery. Material and methods. The work is based on the results of the complex examination and surgical treatment of 1934 patients with various disorders of the digestive system (complicated duodenal ulcer and gastric ulcer, gastric cancer, the proximal and distal pancreatic cancer, colon cancer and postgastrectomy syndromes). The dependence of the overall incidence of postoperative complications, the number of complications per patient, and the number of infectious and inflammatory complications per patient, hospital mortality and length of postoperative hospital days for the development of acute postoperative pancreatitis were studied. Results. Acute postoperative pancreatitis is a leading cause of morbidity postoperative intra-abdominal operations. 97,8% of the cases of complicated early postoperative period of the operations on the organs of the abdominal cavity caused by the development of acute postoperative pancreatitis. Specific complications for the acute postoperative pancreatitis (satellite complications) were identified. Satellite complication had a clearly defined correlation with the development of the acute postoperative pancreatitis. The negative effect of acute postoperative pancreatitis on the severity of the postoperative period, on the morbidity, on the number of complications per patient, on the number of the infectious and inflammatory complications per patient, hospital mortality and on the duration of the postoperative hospital stay were found.

Aim: the analysis of epidemiological monitoring of Parkinson's disease. Material and Methods. We conducted the full-design population study in the six closed administrative-territorial unit (Seversk, Zarechniy, Ozersk, Lesnoy, Sarov and Zheleznogorsk) with an adult's population about 450000 in the period from 2009 to 2012. For collecting information was developed the register of PD. Results. 588 patients with PD were revealed and enrolled, including 302 patients, who were revealed in the first. Primary morbidity was 11.0 per 100000 population in 2009, and in 2010 and 2011 it was 25.7 and 22.7 per 100000 population respectively. By the beginning of 2012 was so-called "dredging" of patients from population (revealing of all patients, who were not revealed earlier) and was 8.5 per 100000. Total morbidity for 4 years of observation increased: so in 2009 it was 33.1 per 100000, in 2010-92.5 per 100000, in 2011-114,2 per 100000, and in 2013-118,7 per 100000, the same like international data. The Evolution of sex and age structure according to the Register's data showed: 1) peak of morbidity at age 70-74 years, with the decay over 85 years; 2) morbidity was higher in men aged 70-74 years and older. Conclusion. Implementation of the Register of PD's patients annually allowed to monitoring of the morbidity and statistically significant show the basic epidemiological evidence and undertake federal and sampling comparative studies, it is necessary for evaluation of the changes of Parkinson's disease status, which can't be done on the basis of the state statistical dates.

The aim of the research was to study the significance of morbidity of Parkinson's disease (PD) and mortality in Russian Federation in international comparisons. Material and Methods: In accordance with the purpose of the study the morbidity and mortality were analyzed in the Russian Federation on the basis of volumes "Morbidity in Russia" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in 2009-2012, "Human resources for health care institutions" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in 2012, tables С 51 about the mortality of subjects of the Russian Federation in 2012, data of mortality from Parkinson's disease in different countries in 2011, published by WHO. Results. The analysis of data on the morbidity patterns showed that in the Russian Federation in 2009-2012 there was an increase in general morbidity of adult patients with PD from 75.1 to 87.7 per thousand of populations. The data of primary morbidity in the adult population of the Russian Federation from PD also tend to increase from 8.0 to 8.5 per thousand of populations. The sharp fluctuations of mortality's data were revealed in subject of Russian Federation that was related of unreliable data. Mortality from PD in Russian Federation in 2012 was 0.31 per thousand of populations. Conclusion. The values in the study of general and primary PD's morbidity in the Russian Federation were lower than performance in international comparisons. PD's mortality in Russia was also lower than in other developed countries. Abidance by rules of selecting the primary cause of death (PCOD), confirmed by an automated system, where one of the causes is PD will make mortality statistics of PD reliable and internationally comparable.

The purpose of work: to study the medical and social status of learning youth of different types of educational institutions and scientifically to prove the differentiated approach to the organization of the prophylactic aid. Methods. Sociological research of 1039 respondents (students of universities) is lead; learning average special educational institutions and technical training colleges under specially developed questionnaire. Results. Features of a social accessory (belonging), a standard of living and well-being of learning universities, special educational institutions and technical training college are determined. The student's cohort of universities under many characteristics was a cohort of safe people from full (70%) intelligent (78%), малодетных (100%) families with an average level of well-being (70%). Pupils of technical training college — are more often natives from incomplete (57%) and quite often having many children (27%) than families working (37%) and peasants (39%) — differed the most unsuccessful characteristics. Pupils special educational institutions took an intermediate place on all investigated parameters. The conclusion. Essential distinctions of the social status of students and learning different types of educational institutions from which the most unsuccessful appeared pupils of technical training college are revealed. It serves as argument for a substantiation of the differentiated approach by development of programs of improvement and the preventive help of learning youth of different types of educational institutions

The purpose of the study was to investigate epizootic situation at rabies in Saratov region during the period from 2000 to 2010. Materials and methods. Retrospective analysis of rabies morbidity of wild and farm animals was conducted. Results. During the reporting period an increase of animals' morbidity, accompanied by extension of unfavorable settlements in case of this disease was marked. Annual rate of diseased animals is defined by seasonal activity changes of foxes. The main carriers of rabies virus in the region are foxes. Conclusion. Epizootic situation at rabies in Saratov region is evaluated as unfavorable
