The objective of the article is to examine the perspective of financial markets cooperation in post-soviet space. For the purpose of this article we define post-soviet space as twelve countries before being part of former USSR (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan). We also use the term “the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region” as a synonym of post-soviet space.
