Two new fossil psittaciform birds from the Lower Eocene 'Mo Clay' (Fur Formation) of Denmark (c. 54 Ma) are described. An unnamed specimen is assigned to the extinct avian family of stem-group parrots, Pseudasturidae (genus and species incertae sedis), while a second (Mopsitta tanta gen. et sp. nov.) is the largest fossil parrot yet known. Both specimens are the first fossil records of these birds from Denmark. Although the phylogenetic position of Mopsitta is unclear (it is classified as family incertae sedis), this form is phylogenetically closer to Recent Pstittacidae than to other known Palaeogene psittaciforms and may, therefore, represent the oldest known crown-group parrot.

Исследованы клинико-экономические показатели больных с ишемическим инсультом, имевших в анамнезе артериальную гипертонию, в зависимости от их комплаентности антигипертензивной терапии. Доказана роль приверженности к гипотензивной терапии как фактора, статистически значимо снижающего затраты на лечение и улучшающего исход развившегося инсульта. Результаты исследования показывают значение комплексного анализа социальных и клинико-экономических факторов в лечении больных артериальной гипертонией

Цель: изучить вопросы раннего формирования кардиальной нейропатии (КН) улиц с метаболическим синдромом (МС) и нарушением углеводного обмена поданным анализа вариабельности сердечного ритма (ВСР). Проводили оценку вегетативного статуса у пациентов с МС и нарушением толерантности к глюкозе (НТГ), МС и сахарным диабетом 2 типа (СД-2) на основании изучения традиционных параметров анализа ВСР, таких, как RMSSD, pNN50, применения нового подхода, основанного на определении вариаций коротких участков ритмо-граммы (ВКРМ), средневзвешенной вариации ритмограммы (СВВР). Выявили нарушение монотонности нарастания ВКРМ при уменьшении частоты сердечных сокращений у пациентов с МС и НТГ, МС и СД-2. Отмечалось значимое снижение СВВР у больных с МС и СД-2. У пациентов с МС и НТГ величины СВВР, определенные за 24 часа, в утренние часы были снижены, ночью - находились в пределах нормы. Параметры RMSSD, pNN50 оказались значительно снижены у больных с МС и СД-2, улице МС и НТГ - полученные величины попадали в диапазон нормальных, но значения pNN50 в утренние часы находились около нижней границы определенной для них нормы. Были выявлены начальные, полностью обратимые проявления КН у лиц с МС и НТГ; отмечено преимущество нового параметра СВВР перед традиционными показателями в отношении диагностики признаков КН у лиц с МС и НТГ

Pharmacoeconomic parameters have been examined in patients with ischemic stroke who have suffered from arterial hypertension, depending on use of antihypertensive therapy. The role of antihypertensive therapy as a factor that significantly reduces the treatment costs and improves stroke outcome has been proved. The research results show the importance of integrated analysis of clinical and economical factors in the treatment of patients with arterial hypertension

Aims: To study the aspects of cardiac neuropathy (CN) early formation in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS) and carbohydrate metabolism malfunction according to the data of cardiac rhythm variability analysis (CRV). Vegetative status assessment in patients with MS and glucose tolerance disturbance (GTD), MS and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM-2) has been done relying on the investigation of CRV analysis conventional features, such as RMSSD, pNN50, new approach application based on the determination of rhythmogram short period variations (RSPV), and rhythmogram weighted-mean variations (RWMV). RSPV monotony rise failure has been revealed on decrease of the heart contraction rate in patients with MS and GTD, MS and DM-2. Considerable decrease of RWMV has been observed in patients with MS and DM-2. RWMV values determined within 24 hours have been diminished in the morning in patients with MS and DM-2 and normal at night. RMSSD and pNN50 features have appeared to be significantly diminished in patients with MS and DM-2, they ranging within the normal readings in patients with MS and GTD, though in the morning pNN50 values have been found at the lower tolerance. Primary and completely reversible manifestations of CN have been revealed in patients with MS and GTD; new RWMV feature has been noted to have advantages over the conventional characteristics when diagnosing the signs of CN in patients with MS and GTD

В работе анализированы результаты лечения 92 больных с паховыми грыжами, оперированных по разработанному в анатомо-хирургическом эксперименте новому способу паховой герниопластики. В сроки наблюдения до 28 месяцев рецидивов грыжи не выявлено.
