The purpose of the work is to research siofor influence (metformin) on the activity of the process of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant activity of blood serum at patients with metabolic syndrome. Material and Methods — 62 patients with metabolic syndrome at the age from 30 till 60 were examined and treated by siofor (1700 mg per day) during a year. The process of lipid peroxidation was studied due to the level of lipid hydroperoxide of blood serum. Antioxidant capacity was based on the antioxidant reaction in the blood serum with definite number of exogenic hydrogen dioxide (mkmole/l) with the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results — Intensification of process of lipid peroxidation has been observed at patients with metabolic syndrome — the level of lipid hydroperoxide of blood serum has been 2.9 (1.9, 3.9) mkM (presented as median and interquartile range), antioxidant activity of blood serum has been decreased — 276.4 (239.0, 379.9) mkmole/l. In 12 months of siofor intake hydroperoxide level has been decreased till 1.1 (0.8, 1.9) mkМ, but antioxidant activity has been increased and amounted 320.0 (278.9, 334.3) mkmole/l. Conclusion — Siofor has been proved to be a highly effective medicine for correction of process of lipid peroxidation and for improvement of antioxidant activity of blood serum at patients with metabolic syndrome.

The purpose: To study possible interconnection between programmed cell death and the processes of lipid peroxidation in the patients with metabolic syndrome. Material and Methods: 270 patients with metabolic syndrome at the age of 30 till 60 (162 men and 108 women) have been examined. MC diagnostic was based on the criteria recommended by experts of society of cardiologists of Russia (2009). Lipid peroxidation was estimated according to the content of hydroperoxide (mkM), the programmed cell death process was studied with protein p53 concentration determination; high sensitivity C-reactive protein content in blood serum was studied by enzyme multiplied immunoassay method (ELISA). Results: In the patients with metabolic syndrome the programmed cell death processes and lipid peroxidation are intensified. High level of lipid hydroperoxide indicates it — 2,89(1,94; 4,1) mkM and protein p53-1,59 (1,361,91) U/ ml in blood serum. Strict direct correlation between lipid peroxidation level and body weight index was defined (r+0,77, p<0,05). Conclusion: Researched processes are interconnected. Strict positive correlation between hydroperoxide level and protein p53 (r+0,71, p<0,05) concentration was defined, their intensity grows parallel to body weight index.55,2% of patients with metabolic syndrome have high risk of development of cardiovascular complications because high sensitivity C-reactive protein content is more than 3mg/l.

The Research Objective: Correlation of apoptosis and senilism in patients with metabolic syndrome has been studied. Materials. Apoptosis inductor protein p53 concentration, insulin level in blood serum, biological age, ageing rate coefficient of 270 patients with metabolic syndrome of the age from 30 till 60 have been determined. Among them there have been 162 men and 108 women. Ageing rate coefficient and biological age have been calculated by A. G. Gorel-kin's and Pinchasov's formulae, protein p53 concentration and insulin in blood serum have been determined by enzyme multiplied immunoassay method. Results. Protein p53 concentration of the patients with metabolic syndrome has been increased and worked out 1,59 (1,361,91) U/ml, biological age, ageing rate coefficient have been increased — biological age to 6 years, ageing rate coefficient has been 1,32. Conclusion. These patients have been referred to the group with high risk of early pathology development because the processes of senilism are proleptic. The direct connection between protein p 53 and ageing rate coefficient (r+0,63, p< 0,05) and between apoptosis marker protein p53 and biological age (r+0,6, p< 0,05) have been determined.

The research goal is to study the aspects of cardiac neuropathy (CN) of early formation in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS) and carbohydrate metabolism malfunction according to the data of cardiac rhythm variability analysis (CRV). Vegetative status assessment in patients with MS and glucose tolerance disturbance (GTD), MS and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM-2) has been done relying on the investigation of CRV analysis conventional features, such as RMSSD, pNN50, new approach application based on the determination of rhythmogram short period variations (RSPV), and average rhythmogram variations (RWMV). RSPV monotony raise failure has been revealed by decrease of heart contraction rate in patients with MS and GTD, MS and DM-2. Considerable decrease of RWMV has been observed in patients with MS and DM-2. RWMV values determined within 24 hours have been diminished in the morning in patients with MS and DM-2 and normal at night. The scientific work is devoted to examination of 180 patients with arterial hypertension in case of metabolic syndrome during the period of 12 months. By the end of initial examination patients were divided into 3 groups. The first group (72 men and women) was regularly checked by cardiologist once in 3 months, the second one (60 patients) -once in 6 months, the third group (48 patients) was observed once a year. Accordingly regular clinical examination provides more effective conditions for observation and treatment, improvement of health state and hemodynamic indices allowing to cosider the given way of clinical examination as a rational and effective method
