Aim – The article considers the results of research of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in blood serum in patients with kidney and bladder tumors after surgical intervention. Materials and methods – The total of investigated patients consisted of 75 primary patients with kidney cancer (stages рТ1‑рТ3N0M0), 75 patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), stages pТа-1NxMoG1–3, 25 patients with cysts of kidneys and 30 healthy patients. Results of research of content of VEGF in patients with kidney cancer and NMIBC in the postoperative period confirmed the role of angiogenesis processes both in the development of tumoral tissue and relapses of disease. Conclusion – Investigations of VEGF in blood serum may be additional method of revealing kidney cancer and NMIBC after surgical treatment of relapses of disease and may influence on the duration of recurrence-free period.

The problem of inflammatory diseases of joints is one of the most important issues in the pediatrics. Nowadays the significant attention in this sphere is paid to the search of new accurate criteria of diagnostics. It will help estimate the severity of disease, determine the prognosis, choose the method of treatment and monitoring and evaluate the efficacy of the therapy.

This review is devoted to a comparative analysis of receptor status, immunity, angiogenesis, metastatic mammal glands cancer expression profiling in humans and animals. Angiogenesis has been assessed by quantitative and immunohistochemical characteristics by means of evaluation of microvascular density (MVD) using Claudin-5 (CLDN-5) as a marker of vascular endothelium in tumors of mammary glands in dogs.

Aims. The study was aimed to identify relationships of immune disorders and angiogenesis in patients at different stages of rosacea. Materials and methods. We examined 110 patients with rosacea. The diagnosis was based on diagnostic criteria. We summarized the role of predictors in the development of rosacea. We investigated pro- and anti-infammatory cytokines, vascular endothelial growth actor (VEGF), fbroblast growth factor (FGF) for the detection of immune disorders and angiogenesis. Results. The immune response in patients with rosacea was of mixed Th-1 and Th-2 type which can be markers of chronic autoimmune infammation. Simultaneously with the change in cytokine profle we revealed activation of angiogenesis (high levels of VEGF, FGF).
