In the article the problems of interaction of regional authorities with secret service of Northern front during the First World War are investigated. The relations of police, jendarme and secret service were very difficult, as far as questions of search and arrest of persons suspected in espionage, absence of the precise legislation in struggle with the spies and revolutionary figures are concerned. In the article the offers of the separate officials and officers of the Russian army on coordination of actions of regional administration and secret service of Northern front are investigated 

The article is devoted to the questions of the Russian-British military and political cooperation on the Middle East in the period 1914-1917. This region which was the most difficult question in the policy of England and Russia in the end of XIX – beginning of XX century, became at the end the only war theatre where the strategically cooperation of the both allies came to the positive results. Germanturkish forces where destroyed and Persia didn't enter the WW I 

The author of this article tries to reconstruct the main periods of two international religious Youth organizations “Young Men's Christian Association” and “The Christian Students Movement” from 1900 up to the end of 1920. In the focus of his research is the first decade after the October revolution. The analyses of the social structure transformation, organizational forms and ways of governing, evolution of the socio-political views of the organizations' leaders presented on the wide historical background, including the history their relations with “White” movement and the main features of the religious policy of the Soviet Government 

The article concerns the problem of the genre of literary utopia. This is threshold, doubly encoded genre, which combines two types of discourse. The first part contains the description of the grammar of utopian writing, based on predominance of rhetoricaly organized utopian discourse over proper literary one. The final part deals with inner contradictoriness of literary utopia, reveals intertextual mechanisms, that destroy “semiotic transparency” of utopian discourse 

The present paper claims on description of some narrative characteristics of the early works of V. B. Shklovsky. The analyzing material was limited by the legacy of the 1920-s because of the very important role of this decade in the development of Shklovsky's critical manner. The basic feature is a permanent attempt to overcome any closed model of classical literary genre. Shklovsky aspired to avoid the strong distance between object and himself: he decided to put into a parralel two consequent strategies _ an artistic one and a metatextual one as its secondary description. These two notions were in a self-conscious conflict that inspired to produce improved and complicated types of author_s voice presence. The most illustrative examples of this practice are demonstrated in Shklovsky's personal declarations published in the form essay and dedicated to Rozanov and Sterne. Shklovsky studied in detail their narrative principles in order to deviate them in his own fictional experiments (i.e. “Sentimental Journey”, “ZOO, or Letters not about Love”, “Third Factory”, etc). Also Shklovsky used his experience of paperback writer (“Knight's Move”, “Hamburg Score”). With its help he have got a new kind of textual unity on the basis of collection of different articles 

The article is devoted to unexplored aspect of the russian-japanese war of 1904-1905 — to the history of military everyday life. The attempt to reveal and analyse some typological aspects of this day-to-day routine is undertaken on an example of the lowest military grades and offeicers of the Naval Department based in Port Arthur during the military actions. Some of the aspects mentioned can be used for the broader characteristic of the structure of the ordinary life of this and some other military campaigns 

This article can be desenbed as an attempt of explication of the pecularities of Z.Gippius's diary text. By using of comparative textological analysis of Z.Gippius's “Petersburg's diary” and Dm. Filosofov's “Diary”, not only quotations of “preliminary materials” from the Filosofov's diary are explicated. The counterpart of the diary notes of these two spiritually closed authors leads to the conclusion of the textual formative process as documentarily and artistic, of grooving and permanent presence of creative power, sometimes of artistic analysis in which Gippius considers historical facts. Such a transformation of the “alien” text into the “personal” one lets us to see the process in writer's workshop 

The present article is devoted to an explanation of specific features of a^ight in the absurd art. The “flying” body as the author shows is a way of transforming an object and of explicating the “relations between different objects” [K.Petrov-Vodkin] as well

"Фоном зимней войны", нередко называют в Финляндии внешнеполитические события 30-х годов, в конце которых разыгралась 105-дневная драма советско-финляндской войны 1939-1940 гг. До сих пор, однако, в нашей стране нет ни одного исследования, посвященного этому весьма сложному периоду взаимоотношений СССР с Финляндией. Между тем давно уже требуется дать обстоятельный ответ на довольно важный вопрос: как развивались межгосударственные отношения в течение десятилетия и при каких обстоятельствах на исходе его возникла так называемая "зимняя война", оставившая глубокий след и горькие воспоминания у народов обеих стран.
