residing in the Çanakkale Province, Biga County Private Bisev Nursing Home as well as to put instructive suggestions to corporations
in order to develop health care of elder individuals. Questionnaire method was applied through face to face discussions with elder
individuals (n=58 persons). Statistical analysis was conducted on SPSS Clementine 12.0 package program. Descriptive analysis has
been performed for analysis data as well as cross tables have been formed through frequency distribution of participants included in
research, health problems they experience, and variance analysis between disease types and different characteristics. Consequently:
average of elder individuals residing at nursing home is = 78 and they are included in the group of advanced ages. 89,7% of the elder
individuals are covered with social security, 51,7% have income. Activity rate of the elder individuals that they could independently
makes 74%, auxiliary means used mostly by elder individuals are determined as glasses and walking frames or similar. The rate of
individuals not performing any physical activity is high and rate of elder individuals experiencing no health problem makes 81%. The
rate of elder individuals benefiting from care service in the nursing home makes 87,9%. 74,1% of the elder individuals are willing to
live in nursing home. One of the conclusions drawing utmost attention is that even though all of the elder individuals residing at
nursing home have children, they prefer to remain in nursing home.

Purpose. The study of the influence of extracorporeal and intravascular hemocorrection methods (plasmapheresis, ultraviolet blood radiation, ozonetherapy and its combination) on skin process and life quality in patients with extensive psoriasis. Methods. 253 patients with extensive psoriasis from the age of 18 to 72 have been investigated. PASI (Psoriasis Area and Severity Index) and dermatological index of life quality (DILQ) have been used for treatment assessment. Results. The inclusion of efferent quantum and ozone therapy methods in the complex treatment of psoriasis has promoted to the more rapid and complete positive dynamics of skin process and the improvement of life quality. The use of plasmapheresis and its variations with photomodification or the ozone treatment of returning erythrocyte suspension has been the most effective. Plasmapheresis and its modifications are appropriateto be used in the complex treatment of the patients with severe forms of psoriasis. Conclusion: Further study of efferent quantum and ozone therapy methods and their wider use in psoriasis therapy and other chronic dermatosis seem to be promising.

Aim: to analyze the influence of antihypertensive therapy (AT) on clinical and psychological characteristics of patients with hypertensive encephalopathy (HE). Materials: 107 patients with HE l-lll were given inadequate AT and therefore were under the study. Diurnal blood pressure monitoring (DBPM), neurological status, asthenic disorder level, life quality (LQ) parameters, sleep quality and attitude-to-disease type were estimated. The patients were re-examined in 6-month period after prescribing an adequate AT. The control group included 30 healthy patients. Results: in the process of AT daily average indices of blood pressure (BP) were able to be matched with the control indices, the number of patients with normal degree of night BP decrease raised. Physical and psychological health constituents were increased. Sleep quality improved. The increase of patients with well-balanced attitude-to-disease type was fixed. The aim of the study was to evaluate the quality of life of patients with dentition defects, not substituted by orthopedic constructions, accompanied by periodontal diseases on the basis of comprehensive analysis and to determine the most appropriate method of treatment of this pathology. The study included surveys of patients with dentition defects and periodontal diseases with the help of dental Quality of Life Questionnaire Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) before and after treatment. Quality of life of patients after implantation of teeth became equivalent to healthy individuals defining the benefits of this treatment before the prosthesis with fixed prosthetic constructions. The use of dental questionnaires of quality of life, such as, OHIP-14 in the treatment of oral diseases helped optimize the approach to the choice of therapy and to predict the advantages of treatment and patient attitude to them

The results of the original research of the quality of life that is relevant to health in patients with schizophrenia are presented. It is proved that the quality of life and social functioning of patients with schizophrenia are significantly iowerthan in the general population. The index of the quality of life that is defined on the basis of the question list of WHO QOL-100 supplements the disease pattern. It is a multifactor criterion for evaluation of the patient's condition in psychiatric practice

The analysis of clinical course influence on life quality and patients dependance on supporting therapy of chronic biliary dependent pancreatitis is represented. It has been determined that increase of life quality is in close correlation with exacerbation frequency, dyspepsia syndrome evidence and manifestations of exocrinous insufficiency of pancreas. Patients with chronic biliary dependent pancreatitis do not carry out doctor’s recommendations in appropriate manner.

Monitoring of life quality and peritoneal commissures in patients was made at the policlinic. “Life Quality" integral index is one of the main indices of the most effective rehabilitation treatment of patients suffering from peritoneal commissures. 80 patients were involved in the program. Research was carried out before and after treatment, in 6-12 months. Treatment in conditions of a polyclinic consisted of complex of physio-, balnea!- and peloido-procedures. So, positive dynamics of investigating index is revealed after treatment Illness intensity index had positive dynamics by 51,5 % and role functioning index- by 140%.
