Flow-based model for traffic management in communication network were proposed, which provides a consistent solution of the following network tasks: multipath routing; traffic policing; and dynamic allocation of network throughput among the users flows. Obtained solutions provide the required values of the key indicators of Quality of Service such as packet rate, average delay and packet loss probability. The main characteristics of QoS are estimated usually by methods of queuing theory. However, in the application to nets queuing theory considers processes for each of the systems (switches, routers, servers etc.) without taking into account the network topology. On the other hand, graph theory uses the topology for network analysis but cannot consider arrival and service processes in network systems. Tensor analysis of networks allows to provide an estimate of QoS characteristics with taking into account both the arrival and service processes and the network topology. This work presents the nodal tensor model as a tool for QoS analysis in the communications networks. In these models, the main systems of the communications network represented as single-line queuing systems (but and other types of queuing systems can be used). Models formed in accordance to the types of networks. The proposed models allow estimating the QoS characteristics for the individual routes and the entire network. Moreover, these models can be used to optimize the communications networks. A Design of flow-based model for MPLS Fast ReRoute is proposed in the paper. The model allows calculating two types of paths, i.e. primary and backup ones, for the same flow. Depending on the parameters of the model, different schemes of reservation such as link protection, node protection, or path protection, can be implemented. In the course of solving the problem of MPLS Fast Reroute the classical metric of primary and backup paths is minimized. The nonlinear restrictions, which are responsible for prevention of node, link or path intersection of primary and backup routes, are introduced in the structure of the model. A dynamic model of the structural and functional optimization telecommunications transport network at the state space is proposed. The model describes the process of coordinated tasks by the choice of topology (CT) and channel bandwidth (CCB), flow distribution (FD) and limit traffic (LT) entering the transport network. The model features the capability of solving the problem of distribution of investment between the stages of optimization in concert with the objectives of CT, CCB, FD and LT, which is an advantage of the proposed solution. The use of the criterion of optimal solution considering the total cost of the structural and functional optimization of transport telecommunication network is justified. Lemeshko, O.V., Sterin, V.L. In the paper the mathematical model of multipath routing with load balancing in the MPLS network is proposed. This model describes the processes of routing and distribution links resource. This model takes into account the characters of links (duplex, half-duplex or simplex links) and prevents the effect of packets looping. And criterion of load balancing in proposed model is quality service parameters. Lemeshko O., Vavenko T., Ovchinnikov K.
