Everyday nutrition practices are determined by manifested or latent concepts of so-cially and culturally approved model body. In modern society, a normal body requires a unified functionality, which is achieved by means of rational practices of the transfor-mation of natural human body. Accordingly, the rationalization of the food practices based on medical means is intended, which means the distribution of the scientific ideas about the physiological norm on the everyday practice. In the USSR, the standards of balanced diet were prevented by the chronic shortage of food and unequal access to it, which led to the conflict between samples of healthy body and healthy diet and the traditional everyday practices. In the context of the formation of mass consumption society, this contradiction is exacerbated by the weakening institutional control of normal body and values of consumer hedonism. The medicalization of everyday life provides an opportunity to reject a self-restraint and to correct the negative health effects via drugs. The contradiction be-tween the proposed community standards of the body and the impossibility to achieve it leads to massive choice in favor of traditional food practices in modern Russia.

The article presents the author's analysis of the normative documents of the Russian Federation necessary for providing palliative care. According to the authors regulatory — legal support of palliative medical care to the population allows to plan and to develop this kind of assistance in Russia. To ensure the availability of palliative care it is necessary to have scientific and methodological basis and to develop a general classification of the states under which the palliative care is needed and should be organized. The procedure for medical care must be brought into conformity with the mentioned above classification. The authors consider the trends of medicalisation of palliative care in Russia in the context of dysfunctional practices of the social institute of Public Health.

The goal of the research is to study features of a back pain syndrome and its medicalization at men and women. There were 217 patients with a back pain being on treatment in neurologic department of the regional clinical hospital №1 (Volgograd). The results of the research indicate big prevalence of acute back pain syndromes at men, chronic ones — at women. Thus, women show big need for a medicalization of the pain, but men ask for a medical care less then women. As a result men feel considerable diffculties at the description of nature of algetic disorder.Conclusion. It is necessary to take into consideration the revealed gender features of patients with a back pain in the process of planning therapeutic actions.
