Aim: to investigate the effect of the vaccine "Grippol" on radioresistance with respect to proton irradiation. Material and methods. The effect of the vaccine "Grippol" the survival of the animals was studied in mice CBAxC57BI F1, which was immunized for 10 days prior to proton irradiation. Results. It is shown that proton irradiation causes the death of the animals at all doses tested: 9% at a dose of 7.0 Gy; 10% — 8.0 Gy and 33% after irradiation at a dose of 8.5 Gy, at the same time the survival rate after pre vaccination study groups was 100%. It seems appropriate to further study the impact of the vaccine "Grippol" at low doses of proton irradiation using appropriate test evaluation of hematological, im-munological, genetic, physiological and other factors. Conclusion. The vaccine "Grippol" introduction into mice before lethal proton irradiation increases survival of protected animals.

Comprehensive analysis of the impact of complex vaccination against pneumococcus, Haemophilus influenzae type b and influenza on performance CAT-test 6 months after vaccination in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease compared with unvaccinated patients. 1 group - 48 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, vaccinated simultaneously «Pneumo-23», «Hiberix», «Grippol plus» (mean age - 61,46±1,17 years). Group 2-80 non-vaccinated patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (mean age - 54,65±0,6 years). Patients from both groups held CAT-test at baseline and 6 months after. There was a significant decline in CAT-test after 6 months in the vaccinated patients compared with unvaccinated patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. CAT-test can be used as a sensitive tool to monitor indicators of quality of life in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the process of therapy. Complete vaccination against pneumococcus, Haemophilus influenzae type b infection and influenza contributes to improving the quality of life in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in 6 months after medical intervention

This paper examines utilization of immunization services available to the children in slums in Mumbai. The present study is based on the primary data, collected using cluster sampling of sample size of 433 reproductive women who have given at least one live birth prior to the survey. The SLI was constructed from household amenities like, housing quality, drinking water sources, electricity and toilet facilities. The findings revealed a shocking low level of vaccination among the children of 12-23 months old from the Rafi Nagar slum. Primary vaccination was just 48 percent. Even Logistic regression reveals that the children from low SLI category and of illiterate women were not availing themselves of child care services. Thus this paper suggests that the measles vaccination programme has to focus not only its coverage but also its timing to include awareness about immunization programmes especially among the illiterate women.
