The article presents the results of research of physical development of children of infant and early age living in the territory of Engels Municipal Union. The purpose: To prove necessity of working out of regional standards of physical development of children under three years. Material and methods: Anthropometrical investigation of children under three years living in territory of Engels Municipal Union has been carried out. Results: Regional features of physical development of healthy children of region and discrepancy of centile tables of physical development estimation of children of infant and early age have been revealed. Conclusion: The received data have confirmed necessity of regional centile tables of physical development estimation of children.

Objective: to identify patterns of individual and combined anatomic variability of the size characteristics of the chest in conjunction with somatic types of youths 17-19 years. The object of study: boys, students (n=162), Saratov State Medical University n.a. V.I. Razumovsky, are natives of the Saratov region. The results showed that most youths are mesomorphic normotrofnomu, brachymorphic normotrofnomu and mesomorphic somatotype gipotrofnomu. Studied anthropometric parameters of the chest are statistically significant differences in all the selected somatotype

In a review results more than 20-years studying age, sexual, constitutional and ethnic laws of morpho-functional variability of the population of Eastern Siberia are presented. Distinctions between groups of the population on overall dimensions, body composition, proportionality of a constitution are shown. The phenomena secular trend, a phenomenon long living people are studied and influence of ecological factors on the physical status of a growing organism is shown

Aim: the current study examines features and correlations of particular psychodynamic, dermatoglyphic characteristics and body constitution of men with paranoid schizophrenia. Study groups: 25 men having the "paranoid schizophrenia" (F20.0), 27 men having no mental diseases. Methods: psychodiagnostic tests (Hand test, the Big Five Inventory (BFI)), anthropometry; dactyloscopy. Results: there were statistically significant differences in such personality factors as: extroversion and openness among two groups. Significantly smaller sizes of the chest and thigh circumferences were found in men with paranoid schizophrenia. The schizophrenic group exhibited higher frequency of "ulnar loop" and "double loop" finger pattern occurrence. Our study found a number of somato-psychic, dermato-psychic and dermato-somatic correlations, as well as correlations between personality factors and age. Conclusion: the examination of personality features correlated with markers of dermatoglyphic and body constitution helped to identify the predictors of risks for developing paranoid schizophrenia. This makes it possible the identification of at-risk groups with their monitoring and focusing on preventive programs
