The objective of this work was to develop a simple process to obtain an aqueous stable colloid
suspension of cellulose nano fibrils from various lignocellulosic fibres. For the preliminary analysis we have studied three different fibres: banana (pseudo stem), jute (stem) and pineapple leaf fibre (PALF). To study the feasibility of extracting cellulose from these raw fibres we have adopted steam explosion technique along with mild chemical treatment. These processes included usual chemical procedures such as alkaline extraction, bleaching, and acid hydrolysis but with a very mild concentration of the chemicals. The chemical constituents of the fibre in each processing step were determined by ASTM standard procedures. Morphological, spectroscopic and thermal analyses of the fibres were carried out and found that the isolation of cellulose nanofibres occurs in the final step of the processing stage and they possess improved thermal stability for various advanced nanotechnological applications.

We have started systematical research of extraction and complexing properties of wide range of ligands based on aromatic and heteroaromatic rows and amino acid derivatives.
Pre-experiment showed us that compounds 1aa and 1bc have good solubility in metiltrialkilammonium (MTAA) carbonate in toluene, and 1ba and 1bb compounds have a low lipophily. Cesium extraction by compounds 1aa, 1bc, 1ba and 1bb in mixture with MTAA carbonate in toluene from carbonate media was studied by method of isomolecular series. It was found out, that compounds 1ba and 1bb in mixture with MTAA carbonate in toluene have better cesium extraction properties from carbonate media then compounds 1aa and 1bc, and optimal conditions for carrying out cesium extraction by amino acid derivatives in mixture with MTAA carbonate in toluene from carbonate media was found. Stoichiometric of the extracted complexes and the isotherm of extraction of cesium by amino acid derivatives in mixture with MTAA carbonate in toluene from carbonate media were obtained.

The new conception of processing of nuclear fuel is offered now at leading scientific schools [1]. This conception includes uranium and plutonium extraction from the nuclear fuel in carbonate media with future extraction refining. One of the main problems is separation of target elements from the well soluble in carbonate solutions salts of radiogenic elements. One of them is cesium which carbonate has solubility up to 2.5 mol/L. We had studied the solvent extraction of cesium by mixture of dibenzo-18-crown-6 and by 4',4''(5'')-ditertbutyldicyclohexano-18-crown-6 with methyl-trialkylammonium carbonate (MTAA) in toluene from carbonate medias by method of isomolecular series. Also we had studied solvent extraction of cesium by solutions of 1,2-bis[o-(ethoxyhydroxyphosphoryl)phenoxy]ethane, 1,5-Bis[o-(ethoxyhydroxyphos-phoryl)phenoxy]-3-oxapentane and 1,8-Bis[o-(ethoxyhydroxyphosphoryl]-3,6-dioxa-octane in presence of the сation MTAA in toluene from carbonate medias. It has been fond that of solution in toluene of the 1,5-Bis[o-(ethoxyhydroxyphosphoryl)phenoxy]-3-oxapentane in presence of the MTAA cation is the best extracting system for cesium extraction from carbonate solutions. Stoichiometric of the extracted complexes and the isotherm of extraction of cesium by 1,5-Bis[o-(ethoxyhydroxyphosphoryl)phenoxy]-3-oxapentane in presence of the MTAA cation in toluene from carbonate media were obtained.
