The purpose: To study possible interconnection between programmed cell death and the processes of lipid peroxidation in the patients with metabolic syndrome. Material and Methods: 270 patients with metabolic syndrome at the age of 30 till 60 (162 men and 108 women) have been examined. MC diagnostic was based on the criteria recommended by experts of society of cardiologists of Russia (2009). Lipid peroxidation was estimated according to the content of hydroperoxide (mkM), the programmed cell death process was studied with protein p53 concentration determination; high sensitivity C-reactive protein content in blood serum was studied by enzyme multiplied immunoassay method (ELISA). Results: In the patients with metabolic syndrome the programmed cell death processes and lipid peroxidation are intensified. High level of lipid hydroperoxide indicates it — 2,89(1,94; 4,1) mkM and protein p53-1,59 (1,361,91) U/ ml in blood serum. Strict direct correlation between lipid peroxidation level and body weight index was defined (r+0,77, p<0,05). Conclusion: Researched processes are interconnected. Strict positive correlation between hydroperoxide level and protein p53 (r+0,71, p<0,05) concentration was defined, their intensity grows parallel to body weight index.55,2% of patients with metabolic syndrome have high risk of development of cardiovascular complications because high sensitivity C-reactive protein content is more than 3mg/l.

Aim. To study the interrelation between the nature of system metabolic disturbances, rheological properties and cell composition of peripheral blood and the dynamics of the development of alterative and necrotic, regenerative and proliferative processes in a zone of surface thermal injury of the skin. Materials and methods. Complex clinical and laboratory examination of 30 patients suffering from surface burns (first-, second-, and third A degrees) was conducted. Results and conclusion: The examination allowed determining the interrelation of the severity of local destructive changes in a thermal injury zone and the nature of system metabolic disturbances typical for the system inflammatory response syndrome with the degree of lipid peroxidation process activation, insufficient activity of antioxidant blood system, increase in blood viscosity properties and cell composition

The article presents the results of examination of 92 women with inflammatory process of urogenital system and the diagnosis of urogenital clamidiosis made for the first time. It points that the analysis of laboratory indices of both cellular and humoral immunity and antioxidant status of women with urogenital clamidiosis carried out before treatment has shown the active increase of relative ratio of T-cells and suppressor-cytotoxic T-cells and the decrease in their absolute values. The analysis has also revealed the increase of NO-cell subpopulation and concentration of immunoglobulin A and E, and activation of lipid peroxidation in the tendency of tocopherol acetase reduction that causes the significant decrease of body antioxidant protection

The research goal is to study lipid peroxydation and ferments of antioxidant protection in group of patients with an acute alcohol intoxication and their correction by medicaments with antioxidant activity (mexidol, glycine and their combination). Patients with diagnosis of ethanol toxic action of moderate severity degree were under study. There were 4 groups - receiving standard therapy, standard therapy and glycine, standard therapy and mexidol, patients receiving standard therapy with combination of mexidol and glycine. Clinical condition and changes in system "lipid peroxidation - antioxidant protection» were estimated. The studies of free radical blood activity in surgical patients of urological and gynecological profile, operated under regional anesthesia (RA) or total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) have demonstrated that biochemical blood parameters, characteristics of stress reaction during anesthesia and early postoperative period, underwent less marked changes and normalized quicker during regional anesthesia. Early postoperative period in regional anesthesia coursed better than in TIVA.
