Cytoprotective effect of cytoflavinum in the treatment of thermal injuries of various severity levels (публикация автора на scipeople)
The research aimed to conduct studying of cytoprotective effect of cytoflavinum in thermal traumas of various severity levels. Material and methods – 169 patients were included into the research with thermal burns and with a favorable outcome and the severity of a thermal injury from 30 to 170 points according Frank index. 28 patients received cytoflavinum in a complex therapy in a standard dosage. Results – During the cytoflavinum usage in patients with the severity of a thermal injury more than 60 points by Frank there had been fixed: the decrease of a systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), reduction of stab neutrophils content, slower decrease of erythrocytes, smaller activation of thrombopoiesis, decrease of concentration of the vascular endothelial growth factor. In the group of patients with thermal injuries less than 60 points who had been receiving cytoflavinum there had not positive effects been fixed. Conclusion – Cytoflavinum is the most effective when the severity of a thermal trauma is more than 60 points by Frank.

Local Distortions of Ideal Perovskite Structure in KNbO3 Revealed by EXAFS (публикация автора на scipeople)
The approach for extracting information on the directions and values of atomic displacements from the ideal positions in perovskite type compounds is proposed using EXAFS spectra. It is shown that reliable information can be obtained analysing the discrepancy factor between theoretical and experimental Fourier Transformants (FT) for different models of atomic displacements, generated using the value of averaged atomic displacement, provided by X-ray diffraction. By this approach, the rhombohedral local distortion in cubic phase of KNbO3 is revealed. In tetragonal phase of KNbO3 the minimum of discrepancy factor is obtained in assumption that Nb is shifted by 0.19 Å along [211] direction. These results are shown to be stable under the effects of atoms anharmonicity motion, simulated trough the cumulant expansion by variation of the C4-coeficient value. It is shown that strong difference in Im(FT) remains under all possible C4 values, which makes Im(FT) to be reliable probe for B atom displacement, independent of radial distribution function asymmetry.
